CANCELLING A SHOWING? Important Reminder for Buyers that cancel showings

REMINDER TO BUYERS Regarding Scheduled Showing Appointments

Just a friendly reminder to those who set appointments to view property. The homeowners usually take great pains to ensure that their homes are ready for showings. Whether the property is their home and they have cleaned it for your viewing, or it is a tenant that has been asked to leave for you to walk through, your appointment is important to all of them and to the professionals that have arranged their schedule to accommodate you.

Please be considerate of others and try to cancel with appropriate notice. Life happens, we can all understand that, but be considerate of the other parties that may have gone the extra mile to accommodate your schedule. 20 minutes cancellation notice is difficult to explain to a Seller, unless there has been an emergency.

As a Real Estate Professional, I do apologize to my Sellers to whom this has happened in the past, and assure them that it is frustrating for everyone involved.

The moral of the story is that if you want to be treated with respect, treat others with respect as well.
